Fire control received a call from a member of the public regarding smoke issuing from a car in Exeter.

Control mobilised 1 fire appliance from Danes Castle.

Once on scene, crews confirmed fire involving loose materials burning on the dashboard in a car. 

Crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish.

The cause of this is believed to be deliberate.
