Fire control received a call to a Tractor fire in Uffculme. 1 fire engine from Wellington, 1 fire engine from Tiverton and a water carrier from Danes castle ( Exeter ) were mobilised to the incident. The water carrier was subsequently stood down on route.
On arrival crews confirmed a tractor and seed drill was well alight, crews got to work with 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and also accessed the local hydrant to extinguish the fire.
The Tractor was 100% damaged by fire, the seed drill 20% damaged by fire.
This is believed to have been accidental.
