A call was received to a road traffic collision with persons still within the vehicle and Fire Control mobilised one fire appliance from Yelverton and one fire appliance from Tavistock.
On arrival at the incident crews confirmed that one male was still within the vehicle and got to work using stabilisation equipment to begin work to free the casualty.
One male was rescued from within the vehicle by Fire Service crews and handed over to the Ambulance Service, one dog was also released. Crews used stabilisation equipment, small tools, hydraulic cutting equipment and lines.
