Fire Control received a call reporting a road traffic collision with one person believed to be within the vehicle and mobilised crews from Street and Glastonbury.
On arrival crews confirmed that there was a road traffic collision involving two vehicles with one person still within a vehicle requiring rapid extrication. Crews got to work setting up equipment to stabilise the vehicle and requested that a Rescue Tender be mobilised for additional equipment which was then sent from Glastonbury.
12:35 Final details confirmed as a two vehicle road traffic collision, two casualties self extricated from vehicle and in hands of paramedics, a further person extricated using road traffic collision equipment and transferred to hospital by ambulance.
