Fire control received a call from Police requesting our attendance to a Road Traffic Collision involving 1 vehicle in Plympton.
Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Plympton and Crownhill along with a supporting officer.
On arrival, crews confirmed there had been a 1 vehicle road traffic collision with person trapped inside. Crews were getting to work making access, stabilising vehicle and liaising with ambulance.
Final update - crews extricated 1 occupant using stabilisation equipment and scoop stretcher. Occupant of vehicle was handed over to ambulance. Crews made the vehicle safe and handed incident over to Police for recovery.
