Road traffic collision

2 fire appliances from Dulverton and Bampton were mobilised to Station Road, Dulverton following reports of a 1 vehicle RTC, where a car had flipped and come to rest on its roof trapping the driver. 

Shortly after arriving crews stabilised the vehicle before establishing the safest way to extricate the casualty. Working alongside Ambulance paramedics crews released the casualty from the overturned vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment, into their care, before making the vehicle and scene safe. The casualty was transported to hospital via ambulance and the incident was left in the hands of Police.
