Fire Control received a call from the Police reporting a Road Traffic Collision on the A38.
Control immediately mobilised 3 Fire Appliances and a Supporting Officer.
Once on scene crews confirmed a single vehicle Road traffic collision with a person still within the car.
They immediately got to work stabilising and assessing the casualty whilst formulating a plan to extricate the casualty.
Crews successfully extricated the casualty from the car using hydraulic rescue equipment and left the casualty in the hands of paramedics.
