Road traffic collision

2 Fire engines were sent to a report of a single vehicle road collision near West Coker in Somerset. On arrival crews confirmed that this vehicle had left the roadway and gone into a ditch, with one person still inside.

Crews removed the roof off the car to extricate the casualty, who was then handed over to Ambulance crews.
