Fire Control received a call from the Police reporting a 2 vehicle Road Traffic Collision just outside of Taunton.
Control immediately mobilised both Fire engines from Taunton alongside a supporting officer.
Once in attendance crews confirmed a 2 vehicle Road traffic collision with 1 person free and clear and another still within a vehicle.
Crews got to work using E-draulic cutting equipment and stabilisation gear to gain access to the casualty.
Once the casualty was released and in the hands of Ambulance personnel, crews handed duty of care of the incident over to the Police.
