Rescue

Following a call from Coastguard, two fire engines and two Technical Rescue Teams were mobilised to assist initially in the search for six people in a wooded area, and then in the rescue.

All six people were rescued from a cliff face with steep vegetation. In use throughout the incident was portable lighting, specialist rescue lines and equipment.

All of the people rescued were handed over to the Ambulance Service.
