Property Fire, PL3

Multiple calls were received into Fire Control this evening at 21:27, to alert us to a property fire on Molesworth Road, Plymouth. 

Upon attendance, crews confirmed that the property was well alight on the first floor. 

There are currently 6 pumping appliances and an aerial ladder platform in attendance. Crews are using the following equipment to tackle the fire: 6 breathing apparatus, 3 hose reel jets, 3 safety jets, 3 thermal imaging cameras, ladders and a positive-pressure ventilation fan. 

Update on incident:

Fire was in the first floor, front bedroom of a mid terrace property; consisting of three floors. Crews have used 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 3 safety jets, 3 thermal imaging cameras, gas monitors, small tools, triple extension ladders and positive-pressure ventilation fan. The affected compartment was 100% damaged by fire and the remainder of the property damaged by smoke.
