Property fire

Fire Control sent appliances to the above location to reports of smoke coming from an area of ceiling.

On arrival crews confirmed a fire in an electrical lighting unit of a two storey commercial building. Crews used the following to extinguish the fire:

• two breathing apparatus wearers
• one hose reel jet
• one safety jet
• one thermal imaging camera 
• one positive pressure ventilation fan

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental and duty of care was handed over to on site staff.
