Property fire

Crews from Taunton and Bridgwater attended a fire in a domestic property in North Petherton. The fire involved a cooking pan on an electrical hob in the kitchen on the ground floor of the property. Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, one thermal imaging camera, and one positive pressure ventilation fan. The kitchen sustained 10% smoke damage and fire crews gave first aid to one occupant.The cause of the fire was accidental.
