Property fire

Crews were called to reports of smoke issuing from a property in the City Centre this evening.  On arrival, crews entered the property with 4 breathing apparatus wearers and 2 hose reel jets and found all persons were accounted for.

One male suffered with slight burns to his hands and an ambulance attended to see to the casualty.

This was a fire in a flat above a public house.  The fire was extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus wearers, 2 hose reel jets, 1 safety jet, small tools, 2 positive pressure ventilation fans, 3 thermal imaging cameras and 2 gas monitors.  The flat sustained approx 50% fire damage and 50% damaged by smoke.
