Property fire

Fire control received several calls reporting smoke issuing from a window in a block of flats. Three fire engines were sent and on arrival they confirmed there was smoke and flames issuing from a 3rd floor flat and there was possibly still people inside. A fourth fire engine was then sent to assist.

The fire was extinguished using:

• 4 breathing apparatus
• 2 hose reel jets
• 1 safety jet
• Smoke clearance fan

All persons were accounted for. The flat was severely damaged by fire and the cause of the fire in under investigation.
