Property fire

We received several calls reporting a fire in a flat. 3 fire engines were sent and on arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in a top floor flat and all persons were accounted for.

The following equipment was used to extinguished the fire:

• 4 Breathing apparatus
• 2 Hose reel jets
• 1 Smoke clearance fan
• 1 Thermal image camera

The flat was severely damaged by fire and the cause was accidental. One adult was taken to hospital suffering from burns to their arm and smoke inhalation.
