Property fire

Fire Appliances attended reports of a fire within a house in Taunton upon arrival the crews found smoke and flames issuing. The fire was located within the ground floor living area involving clothing and a sofa. Crews used 4 Breathing Apparatus wearers who used 2 hose reel jets and a safety jet to extinguish the fire. Two Thermal Imaging Cameras and tools were also used to ensure no hotspots. The ground floor of the property was 50% damaged by fire and 100% smoke and heat damage to rest of property.
