Property fire

Fire control received a call reporting a fire in a cupboard of a domestic property. Fire control immediately mobilised one fire appliance from Princetown, one fire appliance from Yelverton, one fire appliance from Tavistock and a duty officer to attend this incident. 

The incident commander confirmed one small fire in kitchen at the rear of the property. Crews got to work with two breathing appartus and one hose reel jet. 

Crews promptly extingushed the fire. Approximately ten percent fire damage and twenty percent smoke damage to the kitchen. This was an accidental fire. 

Crews handed the incident over to the occupier.
