Property fire

One appliance was sent to fire alarms activating at a retail premises. On arrival crews confirmed a fire at the property and requested a second appliance as back up. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet on a fire in the ground floor toilet, involving the extractor fan.

Crews ventilated the property using a positive pressure fan, along with one ladder, small tools and a thermal imaging camera. The property, used as a betting shop was severely damaged by smoke, and moderately by fire.
