Firefighters rescued two persons and a dog via a fire floor bedroom window following a property fire. The semi-detached property in Wordsworth Ave, Bridgwater was 50% damaged by fire and 100% smoke damaged. Crews used one hose reel, one jet, four breathing apparatus, ladders, thermal imaging camera and positive pressure fan to ventilate the property. Gas and electric supplies were isolated as a safety precaution. An ambulance attended to provide medical assistance to the occupants. The cause of the fire was recorded as accidental.
