Property fire

Three fire appliances from Torquay and Paignton attended a property that had a plug socket on fire in a kitchen. 

The fire was contained to the electrical socket and there was no further smoke or heat spread or damage. 

Crews used one dry powder extinguisher along with other equipment for safety including a thermal imagine camera, hose reel jet, safety jet, small tools and a multi gas detector. A positive pressure ventilation fan was also used to remove any remaining smoke.
