Property fire

Two fire appliances from Brixham and Paignton were sent to reports of a motorhome on fire. On arrival crews confirmed there was a motor home well alight and it was spreading to a building. Crews got to work using 2 breathing apparatus sets, 1 hose reel jet and 1 safety jet.

Breathing apparatus was increased to 4 and 2 hose reel jets along with the safety jet and small tools. Power was isolated to the building and BT were also called as there was damaged cables. 

The camper van was 100% damaged by fire and 40% of the ground floor of the commercial building was effected by fire and smoke damage. Lighting and a thermal imaging camera were also used along with other equipment previously mentioned. The police were also in attendance but the fire is believed to be accidental.
