Property fire

Fire control mobilised two fire appliances and an Operational Assurance Officer to reports of a tumble dryer on fire. 

On arrival crews confirmed a fire involving the tumble dryer and removed it from the property to open air. The property was smoke logged and the crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

Crews also used:

• two breathing apparatus wearers
• one hose reel jet
• one safety jet

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental with duty of care being left with the occupants.
