Property fire
Fire Control received multiple calls reporting a domestic property on fire with persons still potentially within the building.
Three pumping appliances were mobilised from Crownhill, Greenbank and Camels Head, Plymouth.
On arrival crews confirmed a fire on the ground floor of a two storey semi detached house with all persons clear of the property, smoke and flames issuing, four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a covering jet in use. Crews requested an aerial ladder platform to attend the incident along with a further two pumping appliances for additional personnel.
Update at 16:21 Semi detached domestic property of two floors measuring 10 metres x 15 metres, fire in first floor spreading to adjacent property, all persons are accounted for and being treated by the Ambulance service. Six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one safety jet and one covering jet in use. Police also in attendance.
Update at 16:36 Steady progress being made, crews containing any fire spread and searching adjacent property for any fire spread. Aerial ladder platform being set up to supply safe systems of work, four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one safety jet in use.
Update at 17:01 Crews damping down hotspots within loft space, thermal imaging camera, two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet in use.
