Property fire

Fire control received several calls for some solar panels on the roof of a building which were on fire. Three appliances were immediately mobilised, along with an aerial ladder platform and supporting fire officer.

On arrival, crews quickly made a request for two further appliances to attend the incident for extra personnel as well as a water carrier which all came from the above locations. Crews are using the aerial ladder platform to extinguish the fire as well as 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, and 1 light portable pump.

Update 14:57 - Fire has been extinguished. The incident is going to be scaled back to 1 fire appliance to monitor hotspots and ensure there is no reignition. Revisits by fire crews have been scheduled for later this evening.
