Property fire

Fire control received a call to the above location and mobilised 3 fire appliances, an aerial ladder platform, and a supporting fire officer.

On arrival, crews confirmed that there was a fire involving a lithium battery and charger which had filled the office and reception with smoke. They also confirmed a full evacuation had taken place.

Crews extinguished the fire and left the battery submerged before leaving the incident. In total, crews used:

• 4 breathing apparatus
• 2 hose reel jets
• 1 safety jet
• 2 ventilation fans
• 3 thermal imaging cameras
• 3 gas detectors
• 2 short extension ladders
• 2 smoke curtains
• Small tools

The fire was deemed to be accidental.
