Property fire
Fire Control received several calls reporting a garage fire at a premises in Woolacombe. Crews requested additional resources to attend as the fire was believed to have spread to the adjoining house so a total of 5 fire engines are now in attendance at the scene. Six firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus are tackling the fire using hose reel jet, safety jet and a main jet also using thermal imaging cameras to check for fire spread. The fire involves a 2 storey property all persons are accounted for. Utility companies were requested to attend to isolate gas and electric at the premises.

..At 12:47 crews requested resources be increased to 8 pumping appliances to increase Breathing Apparatus wearers who were dealing with the fire spread to the roof of main building and other parts of the building. Crews were at work removing tiles and damping down hotspots. The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental. The incident has now been scaled down to one pump.

This incident is now finished, crews extinguished the fire using:
- 6 Breathing apparatus
- 3 Hose reel jets
- 1 Safety jet
- 3 Thermal image cameras
The garage was 100 per cent damaged by fire, there was 10 per cent fire damage to the property and roof and 90 per cent smoke damage to the property. The cause of the fire was accidental.
