Property fire
Fire Control received a call from the occupant of a property to say they had a fire.
Whilst on the call, advice was given to the occupier to alert the rest of the building that there was a fire in the premises.
2 fire engines and an Operational Assurance Officer were sent to the location.
On arrival, crews entered the property with 2 breathing apparatus wearers and 1 hose reel jet to locate a fire involving a pan in the kitchen.
The fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet, 1 safety jet, 1 fire blanket and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke from the property.
All persons were accounted for and there were no injuries. The kitchen was damaged by smoke and the cause was accidental. Duty of care was left with the occupiers.
