Property fire
Fire Control received calls to report a fire at a property.
3 fire engines and an Operational Assurance Officer were sent to the location.
On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a fire in the kitchen with smoke and flames issuing.
Crews entered the property with 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet. All persons were accounted for.
This was a fire involving a chip pan in the kitchen of the property, the fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet, 1 safety jet, triple extension ladder, thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the property of smoke.
An Ambulance was requested to attend for one occupant suffering with smoke inhalation. The occupant was conveyed to hospital for precautionary checks.
The property suffered severe fire damage to the room of origin and the rest was damaged by smoke.
The cause was accidental. Duty of care was left with the occupiers.
