Fire Control received a call to a property fire and mobilised appliances from Camels Head, Plymouth and Greenbank, Plymouth.
On arrival at the property crews gained entry to the first floor flat and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to investigate and located a small fire within the kitchen.
The fire involved an electric cooker and the damage was isolated to the hob. The flat sustained 20% smoke damage. Fire crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation. The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
