Property fire

Fire Control received an emergency call from the Police reporting a camper van on fire on the A30.

Crews from Honiton, Chard, Ilminster and a water carrier from Danes Castle was immediately mobilised. 

Crews are currently on scene and the camper van is well alight and using 2x breathing apparatus and 1x hose jet to extinguish the fire.

Update: 17:06 - Crews have successfully extinguished the fire using 2x breathing apparatus, 1x 55m jet with compressed air foam and 1x thermal image camera. The vehicle has unfortunately sustained 100% fire damage and believed to be accidental ignition.
