Crews were sent to a tumble dryer on fire in a garage and on arrival, crews confirmed the garage well alight, but confined to the block of garages. Crews got to work with 1 main jet and 1 hose reel jet. On arrival of further crews, this was increased to 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 2 main jets.
The fire was extinguished and crews checked for hot spots with a thermal imaging camera. The garage where the fire started was completely destroyed in the fire, along with the contents, and the adjoining garages were also damaged. The cause was deemed accidental.
