We currently have 4 Fire Engines and a Water Bowser in attendance at a domestic property fire near South Tawton. The roof of the property is fully involved, crews are fighting the fire externally as the roof has collapsed. All occupants are safe and there are no casualties.

Update - 

To extinguish the fire crews used:

  • Four breathing apparatus (BA)
  • One hose reel jet
  • One main jet

As a result of the fire the property was 100% damaged by fire and smoke. The cause is believed to be accidental. Re-visits have taken place. At this time no further re-visits are planned. These are the final details.
