Fire Crews from Somerton, Taunton and Bridgwater responded to a call just after 07:00 to a report of an commercial oven smoking at a property in Langport.
Crew got to work investigating the source of the smoke using 2x breathing apparatus, 1x thermal image camera, 1x hose reel jet and 1x covering jet. Upon further inspection, crew managed to locate a fire located within the control panel and fan assembly of the commercial oven. Crew isolated the electrics to the oven and successfully extinguished the fire with a CO2 extinguisher and allowed the premises to naturally ventilate.
The cause of fire was accidental.
