Fire control received multiple calls to a flat fire on Taunton avenue.
Initally 3 fire engine from Plymouth attended the incident, on arrival crews immediately requested a further 2 fire engines for people power.
Crews are currently fighting fire with 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels, 2 safety jets and 3 thermal imaging cameras.
