Fire control received a call to reports of smoke issuing from a building. Upon the call they mobilised 3 pumps and an officer to deal with the incident.
Upon arrival crews confirmed that all persons were accounted for and there was a confirmed fire on the third floor. Crews got to work with 4 firefighters in breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and one covering jet to extinguish the fire. Once the fire was confirmed out crews then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the building.
The property was 20% damaged by fire and 100% damaged by smoke
