Property fire

Fire control received multiple calls to a flat fire in New Road, Brixham where people were believed to still be in the property. 

1 fire engine from Brixham and 2 fire engines from Paignton attended the incident alongside a supervisory officer. 

On arrival crews confirmed there was one person unaccounted for and immediately got to work with 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and gas detector. 

Crews rescued 1 person and 1 dog. Crews were able to successfully extinguish the fire. The fire was in kitchen. There was 20% fire damage and 40% damage by smoke. the cause of fire was considered to be accidental.
