Property fire

Fire Control mobilised crew from Torquay (whole-time) and Paignton (on-call) to report of a cooker on fire in the Smallcombe Road area of Paignton. 

Whilst en-route, Fire Control gave advice to the caller to shut off their cooker, evacuate and close the doors behind them.

Once crew booked in arrival, they confirmed the fire within the cooker was out on arrival and got to work clearing the smoke within the kitchen using a smoke curtain and positive pressure ventilation fan. The cause of this fire was deemed accidental.
