Property fire
Three appliances, two from Williton and one from Minehead along with an officer were mobilised to a a domestic fire in Cleeve park, Watchet this evening. This was after control received a call to say that there was a wall smouldering with in a privately owned park home property.
Upon arrival crews confirmed that the property was heavily smoke logged and flames were issuing. A fire was confirmed within the stud wall of the kitchen/dining room area of the property. Crews tackled the fire using four breathing apparatus, two attack jets, 1 safety jet, two thermal imaging cameras and small tools. The fire resulted in 5% severe fire damage and 50% moderate fire and smoke damage to the property.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, fire investigation will take place in the morning under daylight.
