Following a call reporting smoke coming from a workshop, Control mobilised two Fire Engines. Upon arrival the Incident Commander confirmed that the building was totally involved in fire. A third fire engine was requested to support crews wearing Breathing Apparatus.
The final details are that a building measuring 6 metres x 4 metres was fully involved in fire. The fire was extinguished using:
- Three main jets
- Six Breathing Apparatus
- Two triple extension ladders
- Small tools
- Lighting
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental. National Grid & BT attended the property to look after the utilities.
