Property fire

Fire Control received a phone call from a neighbour informing them their neighbour's bathroom was on fire.  Fire engines from Shepton Mallet, Wells and Castle Cary were mobilised.

Once in attendance the crew confirmed there was a fire in a boiler room which was right opposite the bathroom and got to work attempting to extinguish the fire using 2 breathing apparatus wearers with an extended hose reel jet.  The fire was soon believed to be out so crews used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
