Property fire

Fire Control received several calls to a domestic property with smoke coming out of the guttering and roof space in the Shadycombe Road area of Torquay.

Crews from Kingsbridge and Ivybridge were mobilised alongside with an officer.

Crews were able to confirm this was a fire involving light fittings and materials stored in the loft space and used 2x breathing apparatus, 1x hose reel jet, 1x safety jet, 1x triple extension ladder, small tools and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
