Crews were sent to the above location following reports of a fire. On arrival crews were able to confirm that there was smoke issuing from a first floor flat and immediately set to work ensuring that the property was empty and extinguishing the fire. It was quickly confirmed that all persons were accounted for, and the fire was put out using two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, a triple extension ladder and positive pressure ventilation.
The started in the lounge of the property and was of accidental origin.
