Property fire

Two fire engines from Paignton were mobilised to reports of a fire in a property on New Street in Paignton.

On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in a ground floor flat and got to work extinguishing the fire using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 attack jet. All persons were out of the flat and one 62 year old male was treated on scene with oxygen therapy. Crews used a positive pressure fan to clear the property of smoke. 

There was 5% fire damage and 50% smoke damage. The cause of the fire was accidental. These are the final details.
