Property fire

Two fire engines from Yeovil and one from Sherborne attended a property after a call reporting a fire in a kitchen.

On arrival the crews confirmed there was smoke issuing from the ground floor flat and got to work with 2 breathing apparatus wearers. 

The detached property measuring 8m by 8m consisted of 4 flats. There was a fire extinguished by the fire service in the ground floor flat confined to the kitchen area after a pan had been left on the hob unattended. There was 100% smoke damage and 20% fire damage. A thermal imagine camera, positive pressure ventilation fan and gas detector were also used along with the breathing apparatus and hose reel jet. 

All person were accounted for.
