Property fire

Fire appliances attended a fire in a lounge of a domestic property in the early hours of the morning. Crews arrived on scene and confirmed the fire well alight, and that all persons were evacuated from the property.

Crews put the fire out using 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets. Positive pressure ventilation was used for smoke clearance. The property was severely damaged by the fire, and the cause was deemed as accidental. Ambulance attended and checked over 2 elderly casualties with light smoke inhalation.
