Property fire

Fire control received a call from a member of staff at the above location reporting a fire at the premises. Three fire appliances, an aerial ladder platform and an operational assurance officer were mobilised immediately.

On arrival, crews confirmed smoke issuing and committed 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a covering jet to extinguish the fire. The was shortly confirmed to be out and involved a tumble dryer on the ground floor which had also caused damage to the first floor by smoke. Cutting away of damaged property and ventilation was carried out before the crews left and the incident was handed over to the responsible person.

The fire is believed to be accidental.
