Property fire
Fire Control received a call this afternoon reporting a fire involving an air fryer in the Plymouth area. One fire engine from our Crownhill station and one from Camels Head was mobilised immediately.
On arrival crews confirmed there to be a small fire within a ground floor kitchen of a semi-detached property and set to work with two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering jet.
The fire was quickly extinguished and crews then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to disperse smoke from the property.
The cause of the fire has been confirmed as accidental and crews have now left the scene.
These are the final details for this incident.
