Property fire

Three crews from Castle Cary, Shepton Mallet and Wincanton Community Fire Stations were mobilised to a report of smoke coming from within a residential property. Upon arrival the crews confirmed a small amount of smoke issuing from under a floor.

Crews extinguished the fire using small tools, a thermal imaging camera, buckets of water and manual stirrup pumps in order to stop the spread of the fire.
