Property fire

Three fire appliances from Danes Castle and Middlemoor attended a commercial property fire in Exeter along with the aerial ladder platform and officer. 

On arrival smoke and flames were issuing from the unit. Crews got to work extinguishing the fire using 2 breathing apparatus sets, 1 hose reel jet and 1 main line. 

The unit measuring 15m by 30m used for vehicle maintenance had a fire within the workshop involving cleaning products and racking. A thermal imagine camera was also in use and a fire investigator was requested.

The fire was extinguished and the unit ventilated. There was 20% damage by fire, 80% damage by smoke. Fire investigation is complete and this is believed to be accidental.
